Position Overview: The People Operations Support Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting RP’s People Operations Organization, which comprises two teams: Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. This full-time, remote internship opportunity offers hands-on experience in various aspects of talent acquisition and human resources.
Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition Support:
- Assist the Talent Acquisition team in conducting intake calls with hiring managers to evaluate position criteria, determine candidate requirements, and explore sourcing options.
- Contribute to the development, execution, and monitoring of candidate search campaigns using internet search engines and innovative tools to attract high-quality candidates.
- Assist in implementing creative search techniques and proactive outreach strategies to build a robust candidate pipeline for open positions.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing tools and techniques, including online social networking, Boolean searches, referrals, and traditional networking, to identify potential candidates.
- Conduct phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and fit for open positions.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring teams.
- Provide regular reporting to management on recruiting metrics and issues.
2. Human Resources Support
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and departing employees.
- Support HR team in maintaining employee records and documentation.
- Assist with employee communications and inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys and diversity and inclusion programs.
- Assist with HR administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, coordinating training sessions, and updating HR policies and procedures.
3. Administrative and Operational Support
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including organizing candidate information, maintaining applicant tracking system (ATS) records, and ensuring data accuracy.
- Support the coordination of recruitment events and assist with logistics and communication efforts.
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team, including assistance with corporate reporting and data analysis.
- Assist in preparing and distributing corporate reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Eligible to work for any US employer without requiring sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience or coursework in human resources or talent acquisition.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a remote work environment.
