For one of our clients, we are looking for a Payroll & Benefits Administrator, remotely from the United States.
In this role, you will oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing across multiple states. You will also administer employee benefits programs, handle compliance with payroll and benefits laws, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, particularly Accounting, for month-end reporting. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing payroll and benefits procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and providing excellent support to employees. This position offers a chance to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Accountabilities:
- Manage the full payroll process, including timekeeping, garnishments, employee stipends, and W2 & 1095C processing across multiple states.
- Administer benefits programs, including 401K enrollments, changes, terminations, and file feed management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, and benefits regulations.
- Collaborate with the Accounting team for accurate payroll data and reports during month-end closing processes.
- Prepare and analyze payroll and benefits data, offering recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements
- Expert proficiency in ADP Workforce Now.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a multi-state, high-volume payroll environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll and benefit laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with a commitment to confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
