Paralegal – Family Law (Remote, Full-Time, Bilingual Required)
Location: Remote (Florida preferred)
Compensation: $50,000 – $75,000, commensurate with experience

Are you a professional family law paralegal with 4+ years of divorce law experience? Do you pride yourself on being proactive and making life easier for your attorney? If so, we’re looking for you!
This is a remote, full-time position for an experienced bilingual Spanish-English Family Law Paralegal. You will work closely with our solo attorney and new bilingual Associate Attorney, supporting both litigation and out-of-court divorce and mediation cases. There is significant growth potential for the right candidate.
About the Firm
Anthony J. Diaz is a solo attorney based in Central Florida known as The Peacemaker, with a practice dedicated to collaborative divorce, uncontested matters, mediation, and peaceful resolutions. We help clients transition through conflict with clarity and compassion.
What You’ll Do
- Draft, review, and manage family law documents, including financial disclosures
- Screen potential client calls and lead initial consults when needed
- Translate for attorneys and clients to ensure clear, professional communication
- Coordinate and schedule consults, mediations, and court hearings
- Join case review meetings and support strategic case planning
- Maintain attorney calendars and proactively manage deadlines
- Track and log all client and lead interactions in Clio and Lawmatics
- Manage billing and invoicing processes, including time entry and monthly statements
- Respond promptly to calls, emails, and texts from clients, courts, and attorneys
- Suggest process improvements and contribute to system efficiency
- Support two attorneys by managing tasks and keeping cases moving
- Complete occasional time-sensitive tasks outside business hours
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience as a paralegal in U.S. family law (Florida experience strongly preferred)
- Paralegal certification and college degree preferred (commensurate experience considered)
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of Florida court systems, forms, and procedures
- Comfortable using Clio, Lawmatics, or similar legal tech platforms
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and confident working in a fully remote setup
- Reliable internet and a quiet, professional home workspace
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a commitment to professionalism
