PA-d2m-71 Hull Structure Engineer
As part of its recruitment activities for highly qualified profiles, d2m Services is looking for a Hull Structure Engineer. Our client is a ship design and marine engineering company specialized in services to new buildings and retrofit of vessels and offshore floating platforms for oil and gas and MRE industries.
Your role within our company as Hull Structure Engineer:
- You are responsible of the delivery of hull structural design and calculations according to Class Rules and Client specifications
- You supervise all activities conducted by project designers and draftsmen (hull construction drawings) and ensure high level of technical quality.
- You share any lesson learned from day-to-day project execution
Example of projects: Basic Design FPSO hull, Methanol retrofit, Carbon Capture retrofit, Floating Wind asset
Requirements
You hold a Master’s degree in marine engineering and justify a first experience of 5-10 years on an equivalent position.
You have some knowledge in offshore structures and naval architecture with speciality in structural analysis of global and detailed hull structures (with FEMAP Software and Class software VeriStar Hull). Preferably you have knowledge of structural interfaces with related disciplines, i.e. integration of mooring structures, cranes, topsides and other equipment.
Knowledge of CLASS Rules (ABS, BV, DNV), IMO and international standards is necessary.

Fluent in standard and technical English is requested.
