MS Dynamics Developer
Calling all MS Dynamics developers! We’re embarking on an exciting journey to transition our Dynamics CRM from on-premise to Dynamics 365 for Sales online, and we’re looking for someone to lead the charge and guide us into the future.
City Wide Franchise is in search of a talented MS Dynamics Developer to join our dynamic IT team. This is a full-time position with standard hours of operation from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional night and weekend work as required. Remote candidates will be considered.

What you will do in this position…
- Upgrade City Wide from CRM 2016 on-premise to Dynamics 365 for Sales online.
- Provide expertise and experience to recommend the appropriate course of action.
- Adapt existing processes to leverage 8 years of upgrades.
- Prepare for future growth.
- Ensure the solutions are upgradeable.
- Ensure D365 is ready for growth and scalability in the future.
- Improve and enhance code repositories and continuous integration deployment systems.
- Continuously enhance City Wide’s code base and adhere to standards.
- Listen to users and stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and innovative ideas to project teams to modernize the technology stack and phase out legacy platforms and processes.
- Determine when to build our own solutions versus buying.
- Devise, design, and advocate for solutions to improve business efficiency.
- Collaborate with City Wide Development Team to ensure smooth integration of business systems.
- Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of all solutions.
- Deliver meaningful and useful dashboards.
- Provide Tier 3 support for end users and other IT personnel for customizations within the MS Dynamics environment, specifically MS Dynamics CRM & MS Dynamics Business Central.
- Provide guidance in IT roadmap discussions to establish future capabilities.
- Stay informed and up to date on the evolution of underlying technologies, particularly in the Azure & Dynamics spaces.
How you will be measured…
Success as a senior software developer at City Wide is measured by completing development objectives and tasks, as well as by remaining adaptable and facilitating the work of other team members, the IT team, and franchise employees. Some quarterly and annual objective measurement criteria are based on the following projects:
- Improvements to the City Wide Customer Management System (CWCMS).
- Introduction of new systems to enhance and expand CWCMS.
- Regular release of new and improved code based on project requirements.
- Management of internal systems, including custom web applications and other necessary apps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (four year college or technical school). Field of Study: Computer Science or Computer Engineering, preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience developing custom solutions in Dynamics 365 for Sales in a professional software environment.
- Experience developing as a member of a team is preferred.
- Proficient in C# .NET, with a good knowledge of their ecosystems
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server or other enterprise-scale DBMS.
- Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application.
- Love of troubleshooting complex problems within tightly integrated systems.
- Organized approach to solving problems with a mix of long-term projects and short-term patches in keeping with overall business priorities.
