The Medical Case Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between patients, attorneys, and medical providers following auto-related personal injury accidents. This role involves managing treatment funding requests, coordinating ongoing medical care, and ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with patients, attorneys, and medical providers via phone, email, and text.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to facilitate case coordination.
  • Review case details to assess and approve treatment funding requests.
  • Ensure appropriate medical care and funding support based on case underwriting.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Uphold confidentiality (HIPAA compliance) and ethical decision-making in all tasks.

Requirements

  • Experience in medical case management, insurance, or legal support.
  • Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient data confidentiality.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Willingness to work in US time zones (PST, EST, CST).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
