Position Overview:

 

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing our marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, generate sales and partnership leads, and support business growth.  This role will oversee all aspects of marketing, including digital marketing, content strategy, email, trade shows and lead generation, while collaborating closely with our sales and business development leaders to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives.  Because //TECHYSCOUTS is investing in marketing for the first time in its 12 year history, this leader will have a unique opportunity to design and implement strategies for testing various marketing channels, creating and refining new campaigns, and optimizing the company’s marketing spend.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Help develop and lead execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase brand visibility, drive website/landing page traffic, and generate qualified sales leads.
  2. Leadership in building the company’s marketing department from day 1. 
  3. Oversee the creation and implementation of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  4. Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing collateral, presentations, and sales enablement materials that effectively communicate our value proposition to prospects and clients.
  5. Support sales operations through administration of HubSpot CRM- configuring the system, utilizing email and other key tools and ensuring quality data capture.
  6. Manage the company’s online presence, including website optimization, content creation, and social media engagement, to enhance brand reputation and customer engagement.
  7. Analyze marketing performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, identify areas for improvement, and optimize marketing strategies for maximum impact.
  8. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development and digital marketing to ensure our marketing efforts remain innovative and competitive.
  9. Cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations with industry influencers, organizations, and media outlets to amplify our brand reach and credibility.
  10. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including sales and customer support, to ensure alignment and integration of marketing initiatives with overall business goals.

Requirements

 Qualifications:

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in marketing or sales ops roles, preferably within the technology, digital marketing, or agency space.
  3. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive business growth and revenue.
  4. Self-starter with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, foster collaboration, and drive results in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  5. Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to research new topics and articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively across different audiences.
  6. Copywriting, social media accounts, portfolio or other writing samples desired.
  7. Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and techniques, including SEO, SEM, paid social, influencer marketing, email marketing, and content marketing.
  8. Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  9. Moderate graphic design skills and knowledge of Adobe Suite desired.  Knowledge of Figma a plus.  
  10. Knowledge of ADA website accessibility standards a big plus.
  11. Only USA-based candidates with the legal ability to work in the US can be considered at this time.
