About you:

We can support you in learning new skills and learning about the world of e-assessment, but we can’t (and wouldn’t if we could) shape you as a person. Working for an organisation with a focus on self-management requires a mindset that can’t be learnt. You must be:

  • A highly motivated self-starter.
  • A collaborator to the core!  Being humble enough to take on the ideas of others, whilst being confident enough to push back.
  • Passionate! Our team is the best because we care and will go above and beyond for our team and our customers.

About risr/:

We are unique in many ways (we know, we know, everyone says that!), but we really are. We work to a self-management model which means we do not have a hierarchy or line managers, we employ talent and allow them to flourish in a challenging and fulfilling environment.

Product-wise, we are a leading SaaS provider specialising in medical education, and we work with some of the most influential medical institutions in the world. Additionally, we are currently expanding into the apprenticeship market, and this will be a big driver for 2024/ 2025. Our operations are global, with customers worldwide and teams stationed in the UK, Canada, and Australia. Due to our rapid expansion and the global nature of our teams, the role may occasionally require working outside of standard office hours, including evenings or weekends.

In addition to joining the broader team, the successful candidate will also be a part of both the Canadian delivery unit and the global marketing unit, collaborating with the Marketing Lead based in the UK.

Benefits

Our people enjoy a very high level of trust, autonomy, flexibility and transparency, including:

  • Working from home or finding a workspace near you. You can be based anywhere in Canada, understanding that most of our current customers are located in the Eastern Timezone (ET).
  • Freedom to choose your equipment and training as you see fit.
  • Freedom from much of the corporate bureaucracy which slows people down and stops them from giving their best.
  • Access to open-book finances: everyone in the company knows our income, outgoings, what we have in the bank and everyone’s salary.
  • Monthly health and wellbeing allowance (100GBP equivalent in local currency).
  • A generous salary, benefits (including enhanced parental leave policies) and participation in profit share.
  • risr/ pay for your internet, mobile phone and contract.
  • risr/ provides truly flexible working and autonomy, allowing you to set your own working routine to suit you, based around your role and team.

Please note that we want to hear from you as an individual when you are applying to work at risr/, and all content in your application should be original and your own. Please note only CVs accompanied by a cover letter will be considered for this role.
