We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our Organizational Development team. This six-month internship offers a unique opportunity to specialize in designing branded slide decks for our training programs, which are crucial to our national training and development initiatives. In addition to slide deck creation, you will support the Organizational Development Director with various branding and training tasks, collaborating closely with our in-house copywriter. New Home Star is the largest privately owned seller of new homes in America. As a member of our team, you have the opportunity to support our corporate office and our new home builder partners to sell more homes more profitably. This position is fully remote, with access to our corporate office in Chicago (Elmhurst).

Pay Structure & Benefits

    • $15 Per/Hour
    • 15-20 hrs/week
    • This position offers flexible, part-time work. We will work around class schedules.

Requirements

New Home Star is seeking a motivated, educated, goal-oriented professional to join our team. If you fit the requirements below, you are an ideal match for this position!

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and presentation software (PowerPoint, Google Slides).
  • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members across different departments.
  • Interest in organizational development and training is a plus.
  • Background checks required.

  • Slide Deck Design: Create visually appealing and on-brand slide decks for training purposes, ensuring company branding and messaging consistency.
  • Marketing & Design Support: Assist the Organizational Development Director with marketing materials, visual content creation, and other design tasks related to national training and development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Organizational Development team and in-house copywriter to ensure cohesive and effective communication materials.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all visual materials align with our brand guidelines and training objectives.
