Manager of Content (Remote – US)

In this strategic and collaborative role, you’ll be leading content lifecycle innovation at the forefront of workforce transformation. As a working manager, you’ll shape how modular, future-ready learning content is developed, improved, and deployed across industries. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful curriculum aligned with customer needs and market trends. With a strong focus on quality, innovation, and efficiency, you’ll drive the processes that bring modern learning products to life while mentoring a high-performing team.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic content modularization processes to support scalable and reusable learning solutions.
  • Own the full lifecycle of content incubation and improvement, aligning with business needs and customer feedback.
  • Champion the use of advanced technologies such as AI to accelerate content development.
  • Serve as the internal expert on existing content, ensuring high standards in design, storage, reuse, and performance.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality curriculum assets.
  • Manage and support both full-time and contract contributors in learning design and content strategy.
  • Lead project management efforts related to content development, including timeline and resource oversight.
  • Occasionally support client-facing projects during peak volume periods or strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in adult learning, with a focus on content management, instructional design, or curriculum development.
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Proven ability to manage content strategies across B2C, B2B, and B2G contexts with varying learner personas.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, especially in fast-paced or ambiguous environments.
  • Expertise in aligning curriculum to labor market data and learning experience standards.
  • Familiarity with technical topics (e.g., software development, UX, data science) is a plus.
  • Understanding of industry tools and standards such as LCMSs, SCORM, xAPI, and instructional authoring tools is advantageous.
  • A graduate degree in Education or Learning Design is strongly preferred.
  • A passion for reskilling, upskilling, and creating equitable learning experiences.
