As an LMFT in our clinic, you will play a vital role in helping clients navigate life’s challenges, strengthen relationships, and foster emotional resilience.
Your Impact as an LMFT:
- Provide individual, couple, and family therapy using a systems-based approach.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate diagnostic impressions, and develop goal-driven treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a team of psychologists, social workers, and psychiatric providers to deliver integrated care.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training opportunities.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our user-friendly EHR system.
- Optionally supervise interns or associate-level clinicians, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Current LMFT license in the state of Maine (or eligible for licensure within 3 months).
- A solid foundation in systemic and relational therapy models, with experience treating couples and families.
- A client-centered approach with strong boundaries, cultural competence, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with professionalism, empathy, and clinical insight.
- Interest in working with specific populations such as adolescents, veterans, LGBTQ+ clients, or trauma survivors is a plus.
