Legal Assistant

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to provide administrative and client support for a fast-paced legal practice. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and skilled at managing client records, follow-ups, payment collection, and database management.

This role requires strong email communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently, and a structured approach to work. Prior experience with Appara.ai and Outlook is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Records Management – Maintain and update documentation, compliance records, and client files.
  • Database Management – Organize, update, and ensure the accuracy of legal and administrative records.
  • Follow-ups – Regularly follow up on pending tasks, client communications, and outstanding requests.
  • Payment Collection – Track and collect outstanding payments efficiently.
  • Email Communication – Draft and respond to professional correspondence with clients and internal teams.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks – Assist with various administrative and legal support duties as needed.
  • Consistency & Reliability – Ensure structured workflows and dependable administrative support.

Pay: $5-$6 per hour.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Legal Assistant.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience with Appara.ai and Outlook is a plus.
