Job Overview:

LAWAZEM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead QA Engineer to join our team. As the Lead QA Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance process and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement QA strategies, develop and execute test plans, and identify and report software defects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring the highest level of product quality.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement QA processes and strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Collaborate with product managers and development teams to define test requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of software applications.
  • Identify and document software defects, verifying fixes, and ensuring the resolution of issues.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines.
  • Analyze software requirements and specifications to identify potential quality issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Quality Assurance.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to other QA team members.
  • Continuously improve the QA process, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Lead QA Engineer or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong experience with manual and automated testing.
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
