Lead QA Automation Engineer

As our QA Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving our QA automation strategy while also leading by example as an individual contributor. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on experience in QA automation with strong leadership skills to mentor and guide our QA team towards excellence.

What you’ll do…
- Being a hands-on Engineer
- Innovate technology and process improvements into the product development life cycle to improve quality, reliability, scalability, and predictability
- Coach and lead a small team of software engineers in tests – manage expectations, performance, and career development of your direct reports
- Lead by example as an individual contributor, actively participating in automation testing efforts.
- Create a constructive and healthy work environment that involves employees and allows them to actively contribute to the success of the team
- Work with Senior Managers, Engineering Directors, and Technical Program Managers to create and complete a roadmap for your team
- Lead and develop tests and test scenarios which analyze the platforms regarding load and scalability and deduct potential measures for improvement and coordinate the approval of platforms based on the test results
- Define and align important KPIs (e.g. non-function requirements) with stakeholders such as product teams, Product Engineering teams
- Be the driver for automation of test cases with both new and existing frameworks to fully enable a continuous integration
- Develop and conduct training sessions on how to use the tool stack and enable teams to use it
What we’re looking for…
- Professional work experience, ideally in Test Management in large scale and complex environments
- Good knowledge of developing and conducting load and performance tests
- Experience with introduction and introduction/development of test automation frameworks
- Good knowledge of application operations, particularly in analyzing systems in regard to load tests
- Automation hands-on experience is a must
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud, Experience in designing, implementing and supporting highly scalable infrastructure service
