Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lead Domain Architect for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.

This role designs and develops Domain IT architecture solutions (integrated process, applications, data, and technology) to address business problems, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture direction and standards. It requires in-depth logical and practical knowledge in Enterprise Data Architecture, along with a basic understanding of related job disciplines. The position demands familiarity with best practices and an understanding of how the Domain Architecture integrates with other areas. Additionally, the role requires awareness of market competition and the factors that differentiate competitors.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of Data Architecture and related disciplines for technical planning and architecture development.
  • Solve complex problems and execute Domain-level architecture improvement roadmaps.
  • Work independently with minimal guidance to influence Enterprise and System architecture through Domain expertise.
  • Review high-level designs to ensure alignment with Solution Architecture.
  • Lead projects or project steps and mentor developers, creating reference implementations and frameworks.
  • Partner with System Architects to elaborate capabilities and features.
  • Deliver single or multiple domain architecture solutions and support continuous architecture improvement.
  • Support the design and steering of a continuous delivery pipeline.
  • Plan the architecture runway for complete solutions and ensure built-in quality.
  • Establish and define Non-Functional requirements.

  • Knowledge in Data Governance tools
  • Knowledge in Master Data Management solutions
  • Strong understanding of Insurance domains such as UW (Policy), Claims processing, Services Operations, etc.
  • Knowledge of legal and compliance regulations specific to Insurance
  • Experience in building end-to-end data pipelines for insurance domains such as Product, Claims, Billing, Finance, Distribution
