Law and Motion Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Law and Motion Attorney for a full-service and leading defense litigation law firm with more than 1100 attorneys, across 44 offices across the United States. The firm ranks among the top 200 law firms identified by The American Lawyer.

The Position

• Qualifications
• JD from an Accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the State of California
• 3+ years litigation experience required
• Federal court practice is a plus
• Strong knowledge of rules of evidence and procedure required
• Excellent written and analytical skills and a strong attention to detail are required

Responsibilities

• Draft case management orders, organize and analyze case information, and provide reports to carrier 
• Draft motions (including but not limited to motions for summary judgment and discovery motions)
• Make court appearances as necessary
• Respond to written discovery
• Efficiently conduct legal research

The annualized salary range for this position is $130,000 to $160,000+.
