About you:
As our Executive Assistant, you’ll serve as the right hand to our Principal and provide crucial support to the entire team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and enabling enhanced productivity across the organization. This role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in administrative tasks, and is adept at basic marketing, communications, and financial management. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and value accountability, this position is tailored for you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to the Principal, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling general administrative duties.
- Assist team members at the Principal’s request, ensuring prompt and efficient execution of administrative tasks.
- Contribute to marketing and communications efforts by assisting with content creation, social media management, and maintaining brand consistency.
- Manage basic bookkeeping tasks and accounts payable, adhering to Canadian standards.
- Coordinate meetings and facilitate client and team communications to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Actively participate in applying for awards and grants to enhance the organization’s recognition and resources.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or assistant role.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational abilities with a talent for multitasking and effective task prioritization.
- Capability to work independently while seeking guidance or support when needed.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and project management platforms like Teamwork or Asana.
- Proven ability in proactive problem-solving and strategic thinking to overcome challenges.
