L2 Service Desk Engineer (AU IT Services and Consulting, Home Based)

Salary: P65,000 to P95,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Friday – Monday (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM AEST)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

  • At least 3-4 years of experience as a L2 Service Desk Engineer
  • Experience in Windows Server 2012 – 2019
  • Experience in Server Administration – Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, IIS and other windows server components.
  • Experience in Azure AD, Office 36, Microsoft ATP email filtering
  • Understanding and performing backup/continuity technologies and management for customers. Veeam and other technologies.
  • Knowledgeable on routing, subnetting, DHCP, DNS to troubleshoot network and server issues.
  • Experience in Virtual machine management; HyperV, VMWare, Nutanix.

  • High attention to detail and ability to follow through with requests are essential.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership by working independently, proactively identifying and addressing needs, and implementing solutions to improve processes.

What will you do?

  • Collaborating with the Service Delivery Manager and supporting the team in resolving assignments, or taking ownership of the issue when needed.
  • Accepting Service Desk Escalations; supporting the Technical Escalations Team for infrastructure and service changes.
  • Customer management and automation using RMM, Connectwise Automate or other tools.
  • Record all customer interactions using our PSA tool, Connectwise Manage.
  • Installing and upgrading software, including both customer applications and off-the-shelf products.
  • Offering remote assistance for projects and the project team as needed.
  • Collaborating and brainstorming ways to maximize the use of our internal tools in order to provide exceptional customer service.
