Junior DevOps Engineer

We currently seek for a Junior DevOps Engineer with experience in the administration of Linux systems, shell scripting and programming, to provide IT support, maintenance, and development operations services in Athens or remote, for the implementation and maintenance of major international IT projects.

Main responsibilities and Tasks

  • Provide systems and operations support to software development teams and international projects (shifts included);
  • Assist in installation and deployments of new/existing software infrastructure;
  • Undertake maintenance and operations tasks of Enterprise Information Systems, including the daily monitoring of software services, logs, and incidents, as well as the daily software deployments, release management, and planning.

Requirements

  • One year experience in Linux system administration, HTTP Apache, Apache Tomcat;
  • Sound skills with Bash Scripting;
  • Experience with build automation tools like Apache Ant, Maven;
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Microsoft Azure/Azure Devops/Azure Databricks;
  • Experience in Jenkins;
  • Experience in Ansible and or Puppet;
  • Experience in Java Applications Servers (JBoss, Tomcat, Wildfly).
