We are an Australian-headquartered provider of quantitative research services to big and small companies (mostly in the USA and Europe). Through automation, we increase efficiency for our clients, but maintain a human connection and high research quality. As we grow (in the number of products that we offer and in clients’ awareness of us), we need passionate researchers, software developers, and other team members to join us for remote roles.

As a Junior Business Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain clear, comprehensive, and well-structured documentation to support business processes, requirements, and systems. You will work closely with developers to capture, organise, and communicate project documentation.

A suitable candidate should be based in the East Asia and Oceania region (preferably between GMT+8 to +11) and be fluent in both English and Russian language to work on documentation building.

Responsibilities:

1.     Document Gathering and Creation:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to collect and document business requirements, processes, and system specifications.
  • Create, update, and maintain documentation, including but not limited to functional requirements documents, process flowcharts, data dictionaries, and user manuals.

2.     Process Mapping:

  • Analyze and document current business processes and workflows.
  • Create process maps and diagrams to visualise and communicate process improvements.

3.     Requirements Analysis:

  • Analyze gathered requirements to identify dependencies, conflicts, and potential risks.
  • Assist in defining solutions and proposing improvements based on documented requirements.

4.     Use Case Development:

  • Create detailed use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria to support the development and testing of software solutions.
  • Collaborate with software developers and QA teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.

5.     Documentation:

  • Prepare clear and concise documentation, including functional specifications, business process diagrams, and reports.
  • Ensure that documentation is well-organized and adheres to best practices.

6.     Communication:

  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, facilitating effective communication and understanding.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a shared understanding of documentation and requirements

7.     Documentation Management:

  • Organize and maintain a centralised repository for all documentation.
  • Implement best practices for document version control and access management.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be fluent in communication and writing in both English and Russian language
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools, such as Microsoft Office, Confluence, or other relevant software.
  • Good knowledge of MySQL.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to drive delivery of features from ideation and refinement, through development and testing to adoption by end-users.

Daily Work Routine:

  • Full-time remote work, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm in your timezone. (Candidate must reside in the East Asia and Oceania region time zone (preferably between GMT+8 to +11))
  • Availability for calls and meetings during working hours.
  • Communication and collaboration through Slack and Zoom platforms.
