IT System Analyst / Tester (Athens)
We currently have a vacancy for an agile and highly motivated IT System Analyst / Tester, passionate with the development of web-based applications and fluent in English. The candidate will work at the premises of the company in Athens, Greece and/or remotely, and receive adequate on-the-job training and support to develop its career expectations. The successful candidate will join a highly professional team that uses state-of-the-art technologies to implement challenging IT software projects, for major international public organizations.
Main responsibilities and Tasks
- Participate in functional and progress meetings with clients;
- Analyze and elaborate functional/non-functional requirements and specifications (Use Cases, etc.);
- Participate in the full development lifecycle of Web applications (analysis, testing, training and help-desk/user support activities);
- Prepare software development documentation (Test Cases, Test Reports, User Manuals, etc.);
- Provide project management support, coordination, and reporting;
- Collaborate with colleagues in a multinational environment, adhering to highly professional standards and methods.
Requirements
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering;
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken;
- Strong analytical capabilities, team and quality oriented, keen to learn and excel;
- Good knowledge of software requirement analysis, UML diagrams, and relational databases;
- Understanding of the software development cycle for Web applications (requirements, design, development, testing, etc.);
- Good understanding of OO programming principles, XML, SQL, HTML, CSS technologies and capacity in automated testing tools (Selenium, Cucumber, etc.) will be an asset.
