We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our client management processes and technical operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for onboarding new clients onto our management platforms, deploying tools, and ensuring the smooth operation of our storage facility management software, with a focus on StorEdge and SiteLink. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional support to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding new clients onto our company management platforms, ensuring a seamless integration process.
  • Deploying new company tools and standard configurations to existing clients, with a focus on StorEdge and SiteLink.
  • Supporting managed teams in completing projects by performing assigned tasks and troubleshooting any IT-related issues.
  • Engaging clients remotely via phone and email during the initial onboarding phase, providing guidance and support through the setup process.
  • Understanding the impact and challenges associated with the deployment of all tools, proactively identifying potential problems to prevent performance issues and downtime.
  • Creating standardized client documentation outlining procedures, troubleshooting tips, and usage guidelines for our company’s services.
  • Maintaining a typical work distribution of 60% client onboarding, 30% project tasks, 5% internal meetings and project updates, and 5% ongoing training.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT support, preferably within the self-storage industry or similar fields.
  • Strong technical proficiency with storage facility management software, particularly StorEdge and SiteLink.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging clients remotely.
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues promptly.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training in relevant IT tools and services.

  • Achieve a streamlined and highly efficient process for client onboarding within the first six months.
  • Successfully manage and resolve IT issues, resulting in a measurable decrease in system downtime and client complaints.
