Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Investor Relations Manager to join our team. This pivotal role entails fostering strong relationships with our current and potential investors, effectively communicating the performance and strategy of our ventures, and managing fundraising activities. 

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving investor engagement and supporting our mission of identifying and nurturing high-potential investment opportunities. Key accountabilities

  • Building and maintaining relationships with current and potential investors (LPs).
  • Communicating the fund’s performance and strategy to investors.
  • Managing fundraising rounds and handling due diligence processes.
  • Developing and distributing marketing materials related to the fund’s performance, strategy, and investment opportunities.
  • Organising and participating in investor meetings and events.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in investor relations, finance, or related fields, preferably within the financial services industry or at a venture capitalist firm.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with investors, including LPs (Limited Partners), institutional investors, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to investors and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute investor communication strategies and materials, such as investor presentations, reports, and updates.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse financial data, evaluate investment performance, and identify trends.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including fund managers, legal counsel, and compliance officers.
  • Familiarity with investor relations software, financial modelling tools, and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems may be advantageous.
  • Professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) may be preferred or beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees such as an MBA may be preferred.
