Intern, Marketing Data Analysis

Are you interested in the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in using data to optimize marketing performance?

FMX is hiring an analytical and detail-oriented intern to join the digital experience team in helping optimize the company’s website performance. In this role, you’ll work closely with marketing and digital experience leaders to learn about our customers’ industries, research customer data, discover ways to improve performance, and aid in decision making by creating reports and dashboards.

You’ll get to work with software systems like Google Analytics, Airtable, Looker Studio, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, ChatGPT, and others—building experience to land your resumé at the top of recruiters’ stacks.

Responsibilities you’ll be learning alongside our team:

  • Conduct SEO research to learn what phrases customers are using to find FMX’s solutions
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing website performance and SEO metrics
  • Manage data stores in tools like Airtable, Google Sheets, and others
  • Design and maintain dashboards that provide insights into marketing campaigns, website performance, and customer engagement
  • Evaluate A/B test and personalization results to improve conversion rates
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to make recommendations for continuous improvement

Requirements

Qualifications that would make for the best fit:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, business analytics, data science, or a related field
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and well-organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn new concepts and techniques
  • Basic experience using an analytics platform or relational database system

The hiring process for this role:

Compensation:

  • $13–15/hr, based on experience
  • You can expect to work 10 hours a week
