Interior Designer
We are looking for an Interior Designer who innovates, pushes the envelope in Interior Design and does not settle for mediocrity. The ideal candidate is driven by variety and the need to be involved in a finished project because no one else can do it better than them. With an eye always looking to the future, this person plans the work and then works the plan.
Our design team is growing and this position will be in addition to our current team.
Responsibilities
- Support the Education Market Leaders and Project Managers to gain customer approval by:
- Engaging in collaborative partnerships with school administrators, as well as architectural and design firms, to translate their visions into tangible design concepts
- Creating presentations, 2Ds, 3Ds, Animations and fly through videos
- Comfortable participating in customer meetings which could include live design sessions
- Helping select final finishes for projects and creating color boards for projects
- Travel may be necessary based on the project scope and opportunities being worked on
Qualifications
- Preferred to have at least 5-7 years of CET design software experience
- Comfortable with construction documents and drawings
- Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task many large projects with a wide cycle time are required
- Must be able to master current design software OI, CET, Enscape, Sketchup, Revit and/or other CAD-based software
- Good oral and written communication skills are required
