Insurance Trainer – Personal & Commercial Lines
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Insurance Trainer to develop and deliver training programs for our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines and/or commercial lines insurance, with the ability to simplify complex insurance topics and ensure team members are fully equipped to perform their roles confidently and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and facilitate engaging training sessions on insurance policies, procedures, systems, and compliance requirements.
- Develop onboarding training for new hires and continuing education for existing team members.
- Create training materials such as guides, presentations, SOPs, and knowledge checks.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and trends in both personal and commercial insurance lines.
- Assess training effectiveness and adjust materials/methods based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Support team leads and managers in identifying skill gaps and providing targeted training.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on personal lines, commercial lines, or both.
- Previous experience in a training or coaching role (required)
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with insurance software systems (Applied Epic, AMS360, or similar) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, patient, and capable of simplifying technical content for learners at different levels.
