Insurance Trainer – Personal & Commercial Lines

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Insurance Trainer to develop and deliver training programs for our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines and/or commercial lines insurance, with the ability to simplify complex insurance topics and ensure team members are fully equipped to perform their roles confidently and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and facilitate engaging training sessions on insurance policies, procedures, systems, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop onboarding training for new hires and continuing education for existing team members.
  • Create training materials such as guides, presentations, SOPs, and knowledge checks.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and trends in both personal and commercial insurance lines.
  • Assess training effectiveness and adjust materials/methods based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Support team leads and managers in identifying skill gaps and providing targeted training.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on personal lines, commercial lines, or both.
  • Previous experience in a training or coaching role (required)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with insurance software systems (Applied Epic, AMS360, or similar) is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, patient, and capable of simplifying technical content for learners at different levels.
