Head Tutor / Head Teacher (Remote)

Private Family requires a Head Teacher / Head Tutor to take a strategic lead in developing and evaluating learning goals and qualifications to enhance progression opportunities and life skills for children aged 0-15.

Candidates should have a clear vision for successful achievement, guidance and behaviour for learning, be able to work flexibly in response to changing curriculum needs and the needs of individual child, ensure children are positively encouraged to develop their full potential and help them become successful and happy adults.

  • Development of teaching, learning and assessment procedures – combine the best of American / European approaches to education with Russian / Chinese ones
  • Co-ordinate the production and execution of individual development plan; carry out observations of teaching and learning, accurately evaluate the quality of education and identify strengths and development areas; provide high quality verbal and written feedback following observations
  • Support other partners (schools, tutors, educational consultants etc) in developing, implementing and embedding their own strategies to raise the standards and improve the quality of education
  • Monitor, assess, record and report on pupils’ progress and development along with standards of tutoring
  • Create a stimulating and well organised learning environment; focus on discipline and core subjects while maintaining emphasis on creativity and critical thinking


  • Experience working in a similar role with clear record of achievements
  • STEM degree (preference – from top universities)
  • Fluent English

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Russian / Chinese types of school education
