Head of Product (Fully Remote & Full-Time)
Pip Decks is looking for a Head of Product to take our subscription education platform to new heights!
As our Head of Product, you’ll be the visionary behind our product strategy and the driving force behind our execution. Your mission? Create the most engaging, impactful career and business education products on the market.
We’re seeking a strategic leader who’s also an execution-oriented “doer”. You’ve been in the trenches building and scaling innovative digital products, ideally in the world of education or content. You’ve got a keen product sense, strong analytical chops, and deep empathy for the customer.
This is a remote role, but we’re looking for someone who can work within 3 hours of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) to collaborate with our awesome distributed team.
What you’ll do:
- Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for our subscription app and future offerings, and have the storytelling experience to communicate it clearly and inspirationally to the team.
- Continuously look for opportunities to innovate and improve the product
- Lead our product efforts and collaborate with our brilliant cross-functional team including engineering, design, research, content and editorial
- Drive product development from ideation to launch to iteration
- Conduct market and user research to uncover insights about our customers’ needs and desires
- Set product KPIs and make data-driven decisions to optimise the user experience
- Work with leadership to ensure our product strategy aligns with overall company goals
- Work with marketing to generate customer hype and launch successful products at scale
At Pip Decks, our culture thrives on:
- Smart, humble & hungry team players who inspire and challenge each other to grow
- Proactive self-starters who own their goals and always find a way to make it happen
- Trust & autonomy to manage your own time and projects how you see fit
- An outcome-driven mindset where impact is the ultimate measure of success
- Short toes – if you see something that needs improving, you don’t wait, you take action
Requirements
⭐️ About you
- 7+ years of product management experience with 3+ years in a product leadership role
- Experience building and scaling consumer subscription products, bonus points for EdTech or content
- You’re a strong proponent of hypothesis-driven product development, but you aren’t afraid to trust your gut when the data is conflicting.
- Excellent project management skills to coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives across the whole product lifecycle (ideation, testing, launching, releasing and sunsetting).
- Strong analytical skills and experience setting and tracking product KPIs
- Customer empathy and passion for user research and testing
- Great communication skills to influence and align diverse stakeholders
- Belief in the Pip Decks mission and a love for fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
- Experience working in a remote/distributed and asynchronous team (preferred)
Benefits
The Perks:
- Competitive compensation package
- Flexible vacation policy and full health benefits to keep you at your best
- Generous yearly stipend for learning & development to support your growth
- Opportunity to make a big impact at a fast-growing startup with a mission that matters
- Fun, passionate and super talented team of A-players
