Neon Flux, an innovative and fast-paced brand accelerator, is seeking a Head of Paid Social to lead our Paid Social growth team. Day-to-day tasks include leading our Paid Social team, launching and optimizing campaigns, analyzing media buying data, and developing new creatives with our creative team.

The right candidate should be a profit-conscious, growth-minded, leader with a proven track record driving revenue and have big goals for your career, as well as an extensive experience with Meta, TikTok, and other paid social channels and an understand what will and won’t work on these channels. You should feel comfortable diving into the data and using results to drive new creative concepts for ads. You’re ready to both dive into paid social ads and accounts while helping us grow our existing team of paid social media buyers. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management and growth of our diverse portfolio of brands that generate hundreds of millions in revenue across DTC, e-commerce, CPG, SaaS, and Fintech.
  • Manage a team of paid social media buyers, responsible for team building, training, coaching, and development.
  • Oversee all efforts on paid social, including creative (video, static, UGC, landing page) briefing, campaign structure, and goals, and ensure team adherence to processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, data, and creative departments to align strategies, share insights, and ensure integrated marketing campaigns across channels.
  • Work closely with the Director of Paid Search and other key stakeholders to align paid social initiatives with overall marketing objectives.
  • Continuously monitor campaign performance, conduct data analysis, and implement effective optimization strategies to improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Oversee team tasks
  • Manage external vendor/agency relationships ensuring high-quality performance and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes to paid social platforms.
  • Compile daily spend & sales data for campaigns to monitor appropriate pacing for the campaign performance.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in digital advertising, with a heavy emphasis on performance/acquisition marketing.
  • Past experience in hiring, managing, and building a team of Paid Media Managers.
  • Extensive experience building and managing campaigns on Paid Social channels such as Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc. with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience working with DTC, e-commerce, CPG, SaaS, and financial services businesses, developing scaling strategies.
  • Detailed understanding of ad platforms, structure, ad approval requirements, and processes.
  • Experience in working with creative departments as well as briefing and conceptualizing creative advertising (video, static, UGC, and landing pages) content unique for each channel.
  • Experience working with ad tracking platforms.
  • Strong understanding of media metrics like CPC, CPM, CPA, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Financially proficient and experienced in reviewing data models, financial projections, and financial data in Excel or Google Sheets
