Head of Marketing

This pivotal role reports directly to the CEO and involves managing a talented team of marketers specializing in content generation and SEO. Our platform, loved by over 4 million users—including giants like Google, Adobe, Microsoft, and IBM—simplifies the outreach process from sourcing to the first reply.

About the Role

As the Head of Marketing at Hunter, you will be responsible for spearheading our marketing strategy across the entire customer lifecycle, from acquisition through adoption to expansion. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of growing a product-led growth SaaS product, who can creatively and pragmatically build and execute strategies that elevate our brand and drive our growth objectives.


  • Lead and expand our marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our product-led growth objectives and enhance our brand presence.
  • Drive customer acquisition, adoption, and expansion through targeted marketing initiatives, focusing on content generation and SEO to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Work closely with the product management, customer success, and sales teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to achieve marketing and business goals.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet KPIs and ROI targets.

About You

  • Current or recent experience as a Director of Marketing at an early-stage or bootstrapped SaaS company that has achieved profitability.
  • A strong and articulate point of view on brand building
  • Understands the need to balance creativity with data
  • Demonstrated success in growing a product-led growth SaaS product, with expertise in developing and executing strategies across the customer lifecycle.
  • A creative yet pragmatic approach to marketing, with a knack for storytelling and engaging key audiences.
  • Proficiency in content generation, SEO, and other modern marketing tactics to drive growth.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a focused team of marketing professionals.
  • Comfortable working in a fully remote environment, with strong communication skills and a propensity for asynchronous work.
