Pavago is seeking an experienced Google Ads Specialist to develop, manage, and scale paid search campaigns for our client.

They are a fast-growing residential plumbing company serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area, and are looking for a data-driven marketer who can help them generate high-quality leads while managing cost-per-click efficiency.

This role starts as a contract position with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and fit.

What You’ll Do

Campaign Development

  • Build, launch, and optimize client-specific Google Search campaigns.
  • Develop both broad service-focused and geo-targeted campaigns tailored to each client’s business goals.
  • Build, launch, and optimize two initial campaigns:

1. City-focused campaign covering all plumbing services.
2. Broad single-service campaign (e.g., “Water Heater Repairs in Keller, Frisco, Plano”).

Tracking & Reporting

  • Implement and manage conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager (required).
  • Set up reporting dashboards to monitor KPIs (CPC, CTR, Conversion Rate, ROAS, CPL).
  • Present clear, actionable performance reports to clients and internal teams.

Optimization

  • Continuously test keywords, ad copy, bidding strategies, and targeting to improve lead quality and cost efficiency.
  • Provide recommendations on budget allocation across campaigns for maximum ROI.
  • Manage negative keywords, ad extensions, landing page relevance, and Quality Score improvements.

Cross-Channel Marketing

  • Run Meta campaigns for retargeting and lead nurturing when applicable.
  • Suggest strategies for integrating PPC efforts with SEO and organic marketing initiatives.

Collaboration

  • Partner with Pavago’s content, web, and analytics teams to align landing pages, copy, and tracking with campaign goals.
  • Communicate insights and strategy recommendations clearly to both internal teams and clients.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience managing Google Search PPC campaigns.
  • Strong expertise in keyword research, bidding strategies, and Quality Score optimization.
  • Google Tag Manager proficiency (must-have).
  • Familiarity with conversion tracking tools and CRM integrations (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Familiarity with conversion tracking in ServiceTitan (preferred, but not required).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Preferred

  • Prior experience with agency or contractor background managing multiple client accounts.
  • Experience with plumbing, HVAC, or other local home service industries.
  • Knowledge of Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) for retargeting and funnel completion.
  • Familiarity with SEO strategies for integrated paid + organic performance.
