GIS Developer (Backend)
Turkey R&D Center is one of the largest R&D investments of Huawei located outside of China. In Huawei Turkey R&D Center, we are a dedicated team who are determined to do what it takes to be world-class and we’re looking for like-minded people to join our adventure.
We are looking forward to meet with professional developers who will become an integral part of our agile development team and would will play a key role in development of our software solution on Huawei Cloud.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in a similar discipline.
- Good command of written and spoken English,
- Professional background in GIS Domain (3+ years experience)
- Proficient in GIS data services and formats
- Proficient in programming languages Java and Python
- Proficient in 3D modeling algorithm development
- Significant experience on Spatial Data Collection, Management and Analysis
- Significant experience API development (Coglens, Geogenius)
- Familiar with GIS frameworks such as GDAL, Geodjango, Cesium, Flask, OpenLayers etc…
- Familiar with computer vision development, remote sensing, surveying and mapping is preferred (OpenCV, SLAM, AR Map..)
- Familiar with Map Servers and SDI platforms (GeoServer, GeoNode, GeoNetwork, MapServer, Mapstore2 ..)
- Familiar with tilt photography and BIM principles is preferred.
- Database technology expertise on Spatial PostGIS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Redis
- Experience on Elasticsearch
- Familiar with Kafka and MQ technologies
- Familiar with Docker, K8s.
