Generalist Low-Level Engineer
We’re searching for an experienced generalist low-level programming engineer to join our team at GatlingX to enhance the capabilities of our core products in order to unlock the possibilities within the new age of computing. As an early GatlingX hire, you will establish the foundation of our tech stack.
Responsibilities
- Work on deploying & connecting GPU-EVM core to other key projects and protocols
- Maintain GPU-EVM core and improve build system, focusing on reliability, performance and scalability.
- Monitor system performance, proactively identify issues, and ensure overall health and security.
- Stay updated with the latest relevant programming trends, applying them continually to improve our processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for internal and external use.
- Balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results.
Requirements
- Strong background and proven experience in low-level programming (ideally C++, Rust, CUDA).
- Proven experience in maintaining build systems & dependency management
- Deep demonstrable understanding of technology
- Proven record of shipping features on time and on budget
- Flexible and focussed on solutions
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to lead projects and work in a fast-paced setting.
- Organized and self-sufficient
Bonus
- Experience in Web3, Particularly Ethereum and even better if you know security
- Experience building low-level tools
- Experience as an early eng team member growing a product from 0 to 1
