About the Role
Our client, a game development company specialising in creating innovative gaming experiences is seeking a senior-level game designer and developer proficient in HTML5 and the Phaser framework. This is a long-term, remote position for a paid hire. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing a game for the company’s indie studio and creative team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualise and design an engaging and immersive gaming experience.
- Utilise HTML5 and the Phaser framework to develop the game, ensuring optimal performance and cross-platform compatibility.
- Implement game mechanics, levels, and user interfaces that enhance the overall gameplay experience.
- Conduct play testing and iterate on the game design based on feedback and analytics.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a senior game designer and developer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful game projects.
- Proficient in HTML5 and the Phaser framework, with a deep understanding of game development principles and best practices.
- Expertise in game design, level design, and user interface design.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and innovatively.
