Position : Full-Stack PHP Laravel Developer

Type of contract : Independent contractor 

Working Hours : 40h/week, Monday to Friday (Flexible schedule)

Holidays : US Holidays

Salary Range : $2,300 – $2,500

Scope of the Role 

We are looking for a talented individual who cares about creating world-class customer experiences and wants to contribute to building a B2B application from the ground up.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Building web applications using the Laravel framework (v10+), particularly PHP-based applications using Composer-based frameworks
  • Produce “clean” and well-structured code with detailed specifications
  • Collaborate with the team in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Managing source code using git
  • Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimisation and functionality
  • Design and implement new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
  • Stay informed about industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Good English communication skills
  • 5+ years’ experience of working on a PHP Developer position
  • Expertise with PHP 8.x
  • Solid experience with of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, MySQL, Elasticsearch, and so on
  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
  • Knowledgeable about Composer, npm, and package management procedures
  • Experience building and interacting with RESTful APIs
  • Comfortable with the concepts and creation of automated tests (TDD, integration testing, etc.
