Freelance Blog Formatter (WordPress)
Are you keen to create insightful and stunning blog articles with a flexible schedule? Look no further. The VistaPrint blog is looking for a freelance formatter with experience formatting blog posts in WordPress, a good understanding of HTML, and an eye for making blog articles look their best.

This is a remote freelance role. You can work from anywhere, anytime. Please only apply if you are registered as a freelancer (have the right to issue invoices).
You will format 10-20 articles a month using WordPress, including text and image formatting. We’ll provide the finished article draft documents with the final copy and images, which will include a rough idea of the layout needed for each article. You’ll be expected to upload the article into WordPress and tweak the layout to ensure it looks good and makes sense.
You’ll work closely with our editorial team to coordinate and meet deadlines using CoSchedule, our content management tool.
Your responsibilities
- Format English blog posts in WordPress
- Crop images, add image galleries, table of contents, and info boxes, and embed videos for each blog article
- Add captions and alt text for each media asset
- Communicate with our editorial team to ensure deadlines are met
This job is great for someone who values flexibility and can work to meet deadlines. Your deadlines will usually be scheduled a month in advance. We’ll send the final text and images 2 to 3 days before your deadline.

Who we’re looking for
- You’re proficient in US English
- You’re a natural communicator and organizer
- You have experience working with WordPress, bonus if it’s blog-specific
- You have a good knowledge of HTML
- You have a good eye for the visual layout of a blog article
- You work in a very detail-oriented and diligent manner
