About the Role
Our client, an innovative game studio is seeking a skilled animator for a full-time, long-term contract role within their company. The expert they are seeking should be proficient in animation, motion design, and graphics. While they prefer someone with a senior to expert level of experience, they are also open to considering mid-level animators. There is no requirement for a specific location, as the selected individual can work remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the client to understand the creative vision and requirements for the ongoing animation projects.
- Conceptualise and create engaging, high-quality animations that bring stories, characters, and concepts to life.
- Utilise industry-standard animation software and techniques to produce fluid, visually appealing animations.
- Incorporate motion design principles and graphics elements to enhance the overall visual appeal of the animations.
Requirements
- Senior to expert-level experience as an animator, with a strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of animation styles and techniques.
- Mid-level animators with exceptional skills and experience will also be considered.
- Proficiency in industry-standard animation software
- Solid understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, and character performance.
- Knowledge of motion design principles and the ability to incorporate graphics elements seamlessly.
