FBS Data Engineer (Snowflake + DBT)
Our Client is one of the United States’ largest insurers, providing a wide range of insurance and financial services products with gross written premium well over US$25 Billion (P&C). Team Function:
The team is responsible for all data engineering and data administration for the Direct Business Unit. This encompasses all data needed for Direct marketing, sales, onboarding, retention and more. We store/query our data in Snowflake, mangage our ETL processes via Fivetran, and use DBT for all transformation. We do not do predictive analytics or testing, purely data management/enablement.
Requirements
Role Description:
This role will be mostly responsible for data modelling of Direct BU data via DBT in Snowflake. Additional responsibilities may include creating new connections in Fivetran, or developing/deploying custom data connections using Python.
