One of our companies is currently looking for an Engineering Manager, Routing in Germany.

This role is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team that powers complex routing and navigation services used globally. You’ll be responsible for guiding engineers in building scalable, cloud-based systems that support real-time geospatial and traffic-aware navigation for various industries including logistics and automotive. As an Engineering Manager, you will play a strategic and hands-on role—driving project execution, mentoring engineers, and fostering a strong culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence. You’ll work cross-functionally with product and engineering leadership to deliver impactful features and ensure the performance and reliability of core services.

Accountabilities:

Lead and grow a team of engineers developing web services that enable real-time routing and navigation.
Drive strategic planning, project execution, and performance metrics aligned with business and product goals.
Ensure operational excellence by managing SRE responsibilities and building systems with scalability and reliability in mind.
Champion best practices in software development, including robust testing, documentation, and code reviews.
Collaborate closely with product and engineering stakeholders to define roadmaps and deliver impactful features.
Cultivate a high-performing, inclusive, and growth-oriented team culture.

Requirements

5–8+ years of experience in engineering management with distributed or remote teams.
Proven success in building and operating large-scale web services, ideally within cloud platforms like AWS.
Strong background in systems design, API development, and CI/CD best practices.
Demonstrated ability to hire, mentor, and retain engineering talent while driving high-impact outcomes.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a customer-centric mindset.
Experience working in navigation, logistics, or geospatial systems is a plus.
