Electrical Engineer Automotive Functional Safety (Lead/Manager/Senior Levels

We are looking for three levels of for an Automotive Functional Safety Electrical Engineer. One at Team Lead level, one at Manager and one at Senior Manager. The published salary reflects the level of experience and is person dependant

We are open to the role being fully remote, however, should be willing to travel to the Leamington Spa office when required, so must be based in the UK.

You will be involved in:

  • Active participation in the Functional Safety Competence Centre following ISO 26262 Standard.
  • Development of safety relevant functions from concept phase to the start of production.
  • Specification of safety requirements and creation of safety concepts in the area of eMobility, autonomous driving and any safety-relevant systems in the vehicle (e.g. driver assistance systems).
  • Creation of safety analyses (HARA; FMEA FMEDA, FTA, DFA).
  • Participation in the creation of testing strategies and test cases.
  • Building up know-how using a hands-on approach concept to become expert in Functional Safety

Requirements

About you

  • You must have a degree in electrical engineering, vehicle engineering, physics or an equivalent qualification.
  • Independent, structured way of working, high quality awareness as well as good understanding of technically complex contexts
  • Good communication skills, fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • German language is advantageous.
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Experience in Automotive Industry is a must
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 is a must
