Job Title: E-commerce Specialist

Location: Remote

Work Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-time)

Rate: $8-$9/hr

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and analytical E-commerce Specialist to manage and optimize our e-commerce platforms. This role requires an individual with a strong background in order and inventory management, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to drive operational efficiency and enhance the online shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in e-commerce operations, performance optimization, and customer experience improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Order and Inventory Management

  • Monitor and manage end-to-end order fulfillment processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance product availability with minimizing excess stock.
  • Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyze e-commerce data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the performance of e-commerce operations.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders to drive decision-making and process enhancements.

Performance Optimization

  • Continuously assess and improve the efficiency of e-commerce platforms and processes.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process automation, and system upgrades.
  • Establish and track KPIs, setting benchmarks for order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Customer Experience

  • Monitor customer feedback and analyze data to enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Work closely with customer service teams to address issues and implement solutions promptly.
  • Ensure high-quality and accurate product listings, pricing, and promotional activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams including logistics, marketing, finance, and IT to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party marketplaces to optimize supply chain and platform performance.
  • Negotiate with service providers to secure cost-effective and efficient solutions.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with regulations and standards related to e-commerce operations.
  • Implement measures to mitigate risks, including fraud prevention and data security.

Marketplace Management

  • Manage relationships with third-party e-commerce platforms and marketplaces.
  • Optimize listings and campaigns to maximize visibility and sales.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in e-commerce operations
  • Expertise in order management, inventory optimization, and data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, etc.) and tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems, and inventory management software.
