For one of our clients, we are looking for a Director, Sales Engineering, remotely from the United States.
In this key role, you will be responsible for leading the sales engineering function to support revenue growth and customer success. As a strategic leader, you will collaborate closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to develop scalable technical tools and processes, while ensuring continuous improvement in sales effectiveness. You will also play a crucial role in driving technical sales strategies, managing high-performing teams, and positioning the company as an industry leader in the cybersecurity space.
Accountabilities:
- Align the sales engineering function with company goals to drive revenue growth and customer success.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and implement scalable technical tools, processes, and programs that enhance sales engagements.
- Partner with sales enablement to improve team capabilities through skill development and alignment with best practices.
- Develop and maintain a catalog of Sales Engineering services, including KPIs and SLAs.
- Manage performance reviews, skill development programs, and career progression frameworks for the sales engineering team.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and support teams to provide insights and refine go-to-market strategies.
Requirements
- Approximately 7 years of experience in sales engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership role building and scaling technical teams.
- Proven ability to develop and execute technical sales strategies that align with revenue goals.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies and frameworks such as NIST, CIS, CMMC, HIPAA, PCI-DSS.
- Expertise in Windows domain administration, networking, and endpoint security tools.
- Experience with RMM tools, remote access tools, and scripting languages.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
