Director of Sustainability (Maldives based)

We are looking for a Director of Sustainability based in the Maldives to lead our sustainability initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable practices across the company, ensuring alignment with environmental and social responsibility goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sustainable practices across the company
• Evaluate and improve environmental and social responsibility policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sustainability initiatives
• Monitor and report on sustainability performance
• Stay updated on global sustainability trends and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field

• Proven experience in leading sustainability initiatives
• Deep understanding of environmental and social responsibility principles
• Excellent leadership and collaboration skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and certifications
• Experience in the Maldives or similar island ecosystems is a plus
