One of our companies is currently looking for a Director of Strategic Initiatives in the United States.

In this role, you will spearhead critical projects that drive growth, innovation, and competitive positioning for a leading sports technology company. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership to shape strategic goals, manage cross-functional initiatives, and identify market opportunities. Accountabilities:

  • Lead strategic projects that drive growth and innovation in the youth sports technology sector.
  • Work with senior leadership to define and implement strategic goals aligned with the company’s long-term vision.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring cohesive execution of initiatives and timely delivery of high-impact projects.
  • Develop strategies for data gathering and analysis, using market research and user insights to inform decision-making.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying opportunities to differentiate the company in a competitive market.
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to market challenges, ensuring effective responses to external uncertainties.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in strategic roles within strategy consulting, high-growth startups, sports, media, or technology sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience conducting market research and leveraging data to guide strategic decisions.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, managing complex projects and stakeholder alignment.
  • A deep passion for youth sports and a strong understanding of how technology can enhance the sports experience for athletes, coaches, and families.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present insights to executive leadership and manage strategic initiatives.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to drive innovation and navigate ambiguity effectively.
