The client is a a dynamic and rapidly expanding portfolio of 10 high-end hair and beauty salons operating under three distinct brand names. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented and passionate Digital Marketing Expert to join our team and help drive our digital marketing efforts across multiple brands.

Job Overview:

As the Digital Marketing Expert, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing digital marketing strategies across our portfolio of salons. While you won’t be responsible for creating content, you will work closely with our dedicated marketing content team to ensure that all advertising campaigns are impactful and successful. Additionally, while a third-party manages our website, you will occasionally update products and pages as needed. This is an exciting role with huge potential for growth as we continue to add more salons to our portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 1. Paid Advertising:
    • Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) Ads, TikTok Ads:
      • Develop, manage, and optimise paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms.
      • Monitor ad performance and make real-time adjustments to maximise return on investment (ROI).
      • Conduct A/B testing to refine ad strategies and improve conversion rates.
    • Collaboration with Content Team:
      • Work closely with our marketing content team to ensure all ads are aligned with campaign goals.
      • Provide clear guidance on what content is needed to make the most impact in advertising campaigns.
  • 2. Email and WhatsApp Marketing:
    • Klaviyo:
      • Create and manage email marketing campaigns to engage and retain customers.
      • Implement targeted email campaigns based on customer segmentation.
    • WhatsApp Marketing:
      • Develop and execute WhatsApp marketing strategies for direct and personalised customer engagement.
  • 3. Advanced Marketing Segmentation:
    • Zenoti (Booking Software):
      • Use Zenoti for advanced customer segmentation and targeted marketing initiatives (training provided).
      • Analyse customer data to deliver personalised marketing experiences.
    • Zapier or Similar:
      • Integrate and automate marketing workflows using Zapier or similar tools to streamline processes.
      • Leverage APIs to connect various platforms and enhance marketing capabilities.
  • 4. Website Updates:
    • Product and Page Updates:
      • Occasionally update products and pages on our WordPress and Shopify websites.
      • Ensure content is current and accurate.
    • Third-Party Management:
      • Coordinate with the third-party website management team to ensure overall site functionality and updates.
  • 5. Loyalty Scheme Management:
    • Optimisation:
      • Manage and optimise our existing loyalty scheme using Zenoti.
      • Ensure we are maximising opportunities within the loyalty programme to enhance customer retention and satisfaction.
    • Performance Tracking:
      • Monitor the effectiveness of the loyalty scheme and make adjustments to improve performance.
  • 6. Data Analysis:
    • Analyse marketing data to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
    • Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to the management team.

Skills and Qualifications:

    • Experience:
      • Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital marketing
      • Proven experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and Shopify.
      • Strong knowledge of marketing automation tools like Klaviyo and integration platforms like Zapier.
      • Experience in data analysis and reporting with a focus on improving marketing performance.
      • Familiarity with WordPress and Shopify platforms for occasional updates.
      • Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools is preferable.
    • Skills:
      • Deep understanding of digital marketing best practices and trends.
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
      • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
      • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and tasks simultaneously.
      • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
      • Passion for marketing, data-driven decision making, and a keen eye for detail.
    • Technical Proficiency:
      • Proficient in using Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Shopify.
      • Experience with marketing software like Klaviyo and booking software like Zenoti (training provided).
      • Knowledge of Zapier or similar automation tools.
      • Familiarity with APIs and integrating multiple platforms.
      • Experience in managing occasional updates on WordPress and Shopify websites.
      • Understanding of SEO principles and tools.
