Digital Explorers – Iraq Edition – Data Analyst (training + stipend)

Digital Explorers – Iraq Edition is a career advancement programme for Iraqi digital talents. The programme aims to support young specialists kicking off their journeys in the data analysis field by offering tailored digital skills training.

In spring 2024, we are aiming to select young data analysis specialists for 6 month online data analytics training with a leading Lithuanian data science college. After the intense training course Digital Explorers – Iraq Edition offers a chance to either get matched with leading Iraqi ICT companies, or get gain remote international work opportunities.

The Digital Explorers – Iraq Edition call of applications is open until the 9th of May. However, we strongly encourage you to apply as early as possible since we are processing applications on a rolling basis. Make sure you thoroughly fill in the application form and upload the video introduction (mandatory)!

The candidates that meet the requirements will get a technical task which will need to be completed in order to proceed with the selection. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for one-on-one soft and technical skills interviews with the Digital Explorers team.

Shortlisted candidates can also expect to be invited to an on-site skills enhancement training during the week of May 19-24th where they will also get a chance to meet the Digital Explorers – Iraq Edition team.

Requirements

You should apply to become a Digital Explorer, if…

• You currently reside in Iraq and have Iraqi citizenship.
• You have experience in the data analysis field (at least 1 year of internship, work or other relevant (volunteering, mentoring, workshops etc.) experience). 
• You have strong written and verbal English skills. 
• An academic background in data analytics, mathematics or ICT-related programmes would be considered as an advantage (non-university programmes also count!)
• You are strongly motivated to be a part of the Digital Explorers – Iraq Edition programme.
• You are able to dedicate time to participate in the whole selection process.
