As a digital content editor, you will have the required skills, ability and work ethic to develop, write, edit and publish high-quality copy on deadline for a wide variety of digital platforms, including websites, blogs, and social posts. This is a great opportunity for a motivated digital content editor to join an award-winning digital marketing agency where your contributions will directly impact the growth and success of the business.
Responsibilities
- Reporting and working closely with the Content Director to grow clients’ digital presence by making sure all copy is clear, concise and convincing
- Performing quality assurance checks on copy/content produced
- Providing detailed, actionable feedback to ensure content quality is always top-notch
- Analysing and reporting on the quality of the content created by the team
- With a strong interest in financial services, technology, health, fashion and beauty, you’ll follow best in class examples to drive new processes and forward-thinking ideas
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have
- A degree in journalism, creative writing, communications or any other relevant courses
- A minimum of five (5) years experience in a copywriting, editing or quality assurance role with a focus on digital channels across a range of industries
- The ability to edit 9,000 words a day
- Strong experience leading, growing and inspiring a team of digital copywriters
- Strong understanding of SEO writing tactics
- Strong experience writing and editing content according to brand guidelines
- Strong ability to conduct independent research to gain a proficient knowledge base of client industries to deliver quality copy
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong ability to manage conflicting priorities to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Positive can do attitude
- This is a remote (work from home) role but candidate must be located in the Philippines
