One of our companies is currently looking for a DevOps Engineer in Mexico.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing the application flow throughout the build-release-deploy lifecycle. Your goal will be to streamline processes for application teams, allowing for faster and more efficient production releases. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to implement and support Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines, drive code quality standards, and troubleshoot deployment issues. Your contributions will help the team achieve a more agile, secure, and innovative development environment.

Accountabilities:

Assist in the design and maintenance of build, release, and deployment toolchains, ensuring they follow best practices.
Implement and manage CI pipelines, ensuring adherence to defined standards and creating documentation to encourage self-service solutions.
Define and improve Continuous Deployment (CD) processes and support smooth deployment operations.
Collaborate with senior engineers to enforce code quality standards and security practices, including automated testing tools.
Establish and manage monitoring solutions for application performance and provide operational performance reports.
Participate in process improvement initiatives, identifying bottlenecks and providing solutions to enhance the speed and quality of the DevOps pipeline.
Share knowledge and best practices with teams, fostering a collaborative and continuous improvement culture.
Support onboarding and training for new team members on DevOps tools and practices.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in DevOps roles with a focus on DevOps practices and principles.
Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or similar.
Familiarity with binary repository tools (e.g., Nexus Sonatype, JFrog Artifactory) and publishing binaries with Java, Maven, Gradle, NPM, and Python.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and managing cloud infrastructure.
Proficiency in containerization technologies, particularly Docker, and basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
Strong scripting skills in at least one language (Python, Bash, GoLang) to automate processes.
Understanding of software development practices, especially Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
Strong team player with excellent communication skills to collaborate across functions.
Experience working in production environments and familiarity with PaaS, SaaS, or IaaS models.
Ability to identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements for continuous growth.
