MedVA is seeking a skilled Dental Virtual Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Virtual Administrative Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting dental professionals in their day-to-day administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include managing patient appointments, handling phone calls, processing dental insurance claims, and maintaining accurate dental records. Responsibilities

  • Manage patient appointments, ensuring scheduling efficiency and accuracy
  • Handle phone calls, inquiries, and patient registration
  • Process dental insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage
  • Maintain accurate dental records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
  • Assist with billing and financial transactions
  • Coordinate referrals and authorizations for specialized dental services
  • Provide general administrative support to the dental team as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Dental Virtual Administrative Assistant or in a similar role (BPO, CPO, etc.)
  • Proficiency in dental terminology, understanding of dental office procedures, and navigating dental EMR
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing dental records and documentation
  • Experience with dental practice management software is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to undergo training and stay updated with industry trends and best practices
