Dental Verification Specialist

The Dental Insurance Verifier:

1. Must have a strong background in Dental insurance verification or related roles is required.

2. Must have Familiarity with dental insurance plans, benefit structures, and insurance portals and faxback.

3. Must be Comfortable working with dental practice management software and basic Google Spreadsheets and Docs applications.

4. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies and the dental office team.

5. Must have Strong attention to detail – this is critical to accurately verify insurance information and avoid potential billing errors.

6. Must Have the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain well-organized records.

7. Must be proactive and solution-oriented mindset to handle insurance-related challenges and inquiries.

8. Must uphold high ethical standards, HIPAA standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

  • Strong command of verbal and written English and interpersonal skills. Little to no accent when speaking
  • Background in the Dental insurance or collections industries
  • 3+ years of hands-on collections experience
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, able to work independently as this is a remote position
  • Outstanding organizational, time management and follow-up skills
